Earlier this month, CDS was very pleased to release a new volume titled Lessons for a Long War: How America Can Win on New Battlefields. The book, which I edited with my colleague Fred Kagan, features chapters from some of the leading lights within the national security community: Brigadier General H. R. McMaster, Peter Feaver, Major General Charles Dunlap, Colonel (Ret.)Robert Killebrew, and Mackubin Thomas Owens.

We’re so excited about the book, in fact, that we have arranged a contest to give away signed copies to our loyal blog readers and Twitter followers. Here’s the deal:

• The contest will run until 3:00pm EST on Wednesday, May  5.
